I have installed an LS1 from a trans am in my CJ7 when I went to program it to disable the VATS i got a message that said. Something about the file being used with an electric throttle control and that if I flashed it into my ecm it could render the ecm useless. And this is the file I downloaded from the ecm that came with the engine. I have gotten to the point where I want to start the engine and its not firing up. I have disabled the VATS and have fuel and power hooked up to the right places but still no start. Now i am wondering if the ecm is useless now? so is there anything I'm missing. also I have a PSI Conversions Harness. I'm going to call them as well just thought there may be a good source of help here too.
