stored commodore dash info

Where is the info from the commodore dash stored,odometer etc. Is it in the dash,bcm, where? What needs to be done if you swap a dash. VY commodore.

It would be stored in the instrument panel.

I can verify that on the Ls1 vehicles anyway the odometer was in the dash. I wanted to change to one of the three LCD models and found that my car had put on 50,000 k/s so out it came :)
