Don't you guys get that show "Top Gear" in the US? It is probably the most entertaining car show on TV. Not sure how accurate their "reviews" are, but they are certainly ammusing.

I hadn't seen much of it until a couple of months ago. It seems to be getting more play lately though. It is very intertaining

We get it here on one of the cable channels, either Discovery or History, I forget which. Jeremy Clarkson is the most entertaining car guy since Tom McCahill.

Notice also that the 747 pilot was spinning up only 2 of the 4 engines.

I used to work for United Airlines in San Francisco back in the day (before getting laid off :rippedhand: ) there was an identical incident to this that actually occured where an SFO Airport employee was 'blown' into the bay between SFO and Oakland.. As a result, the airline got sued, and the moron employee was able to retire from the settlement he received.

I actually got to spin up one of these bad boys on a HIGH POWER run after we did engine work and it was amazing to see the wind sock at the airport actually change directions !! :master:

The Boeing 747 is truly an amazing bird and alot of fun to work on too.. I miss those days :damnit1:
