i have a 07.5 lmm that i put a dsp 5 tune on it runs great but after every cold start it goes into reduced power mode the reduced power mode is noticed shortly after you start driving it. All you have to do to reset it is turn the dsp 5 back to the stock tune for 10-15sec and it will run fine . After it resets you can use all the settings and runs fine. It also goes into reduced power if you let it cool off for a couple hours . Yesterday it went into limp mode and threw a p0108 . Just wondering if anybody had the same problem?

It sounds like a tune compatability issue, possible with desired boost. Who/What is the source of the tuning?

One of of my friends and i do our own tuning . We have this tune in a couple of other trucks and did not have this problem. I just talked to my buddy and i had it wrong. The the truck never limped or went into reduced power mode he told me it limped but but the more i talked to him i relized i was wrong. And what i thought was reduced power mode was not. He said it never said reduced power. So i guess we start over. What it is doing after every cold start is it shudders and loses power for a bit and smokes a little sometimes. He says by turning the dsp 5 to the stock setting for about 10 sec fixes it. But i dont think it has anything to do with the switch as he can start it on the stock setting and it does the same. It was after one these instances that it threw the p0108 code

I'll wager an EGR issue. But you need to just log it.
