edge cts monitor

Just wondering if anybody is familiar with the new edge cts monitor and how to set it up for the 5 stages. I'm new with efi live and am completely lost but any help would be great.

First off are you using the EDGE to tune your truck or EFI Live ??

EFILive and Edge have an agreement that the CTS can switch DSP5 tunes on the LB7 & LLY, it's can't however flash the DSP5 tune, you still need a V2 for that.

I don't see why they (or you guys) would want to do that, don't they do their own tuning ??

Because the CTS is a great monitor but a lot of people run EFILive DSP, so it made sense.

I've never even seen a CTS in a truck, yet alone used one to switch tunes so I don't know how to set the CTS up, that would be a question for Edge surely?.

So the CTS just sends the info across the data bus and says "change to tune x"

Yes, that's all it does, it cannot reflash a DSP tune.

yes just change to sierial works good on cts and cs monitors
just buy the insight one though not the tuners

The more I research this subject the more I like it !! My supplier sells the Insight CTS for $300 and the CS for $225
I can sell a DSP 5 tune and a CTS for $600. No switches No wiring.......YEA Buddy !!

Just keep in mind, it's not for the LBZ/LMM Bosch ECM's.

Would it be too difficult to switch those on the data bus ?

I already spent a long time trying to figure out how to, do but in the end the Bosch ECM beat us.
