View Full Version : WOW. Mentos Mints and Diet Coke!!

I didnt beleive it so i tried it... Take a 2 liter of diet coke regular with caffine, and a roll of mentos the mint flavor, make a paper roll so you can insert the mentos into the tip of the 2l liter bottle as fast as you can, then you open the 2liter and insert in the mentos. Then INSTANTLY the soda is flying 12 ft in the air and empties the container 3/4 of the way down.. MASSIVE chemical reaction.. I would have never thought.......
It was funny..
The next experiment will be to consume a roll of mentos then slam as much diet coke as possible and see what happens... :beer: :master: What ever is in diet coke has now gotten my respect..

We had fun with Alka-Seltzer Rockets when I was a kid. Little plastic things.

We used to use vineger and baking soda.
