Does anyone know what PCM the 2011 Aveo has? It's not in the supported list (Who would want to tune a rollerskate :hihi:), but the PCM LOOKS a lot like an E37 except it has two black connectors instead of a black and a gray, and near as I can tell, there is no TCM (Although my V2 reports 2 CAN devices on the bus :confused:).

Does anyone know which (if any) supported PCM would be close enough to get log data from it? I've used LS1 to (successfully) pull data from a 97 3100 Lumina, but this is CAN based, so I'd need something that is CAN based to use that has transmission functions. The reason being I THINK this POS rollerskate's transmission is slipping, but I'm curious if I could tell from some logging if it really is. Doesn't really matter as it's a rental and I'm going to see about getting it swapped tomorrow, but I'm just curious.

If you have a V2, you should be able to log (you maybe have to change the stream speed);

and, you will be able to scan OBD-II data.

The 2011 Aveo has a new unknown ECM type, I believe it's a Hitachi ECM. If you just select to log it as an E37 then EFILive will still validate what PID's are supported.
If you can see the ECM service number I'd be interested to know what it is.

I'm pretty sure the car is Suzuki

Daewoo, actually, I think... bottom of hood has something about GM daewoo. Either way, it's a roller skate.

Only problem with using the E37 is I want to log transmission function (V2 BBL), but there are none to log in the E37.

Thanks for taking a look at the service number, that ECM is also on the 1.8L non Turbo Cruze, it must be GM's new small engine controller.
For the TCM, it's probably using a T76 (my guess), that seems to be used in a lot of the FWD small engine stuff too, you might get luck if you try it as a T43.

Cheers,
Ross

Oh, so it's internal to the Transmission then? Guess that's why I couldn't find it! :hihi:
