My V2 lcd is messed up... Been like this since new....

Its been like this for over a year and pretty much like this since i got it. there are lines that don't light up from bottom to top and now after the year and a half vie had it it gets worse... if i squeeze the sides of the v2 the screen will be good but soon as i let go its back to the same.

I cant even login to efi live to sort this out... got my username emailed to me and is "cain" there but when i try to get my password it says my email isn't valid or whatever....

anyone know how to fix it?

There is a chance that one or more metal tabs under the LCD screen are touching on the frame of the SD Card holder underneath the LCD screen.
When you squeeze the sides of FlashScan it is probably lifting the LCD screen by a few thousandths of an inch and stopping the tabs from contacting the SD Card holder below.

Try inserting a non-conductive piece of thin plastic or card between the back of the LCD screen and the SD Card holder.
You'll need to open the case which would void the warranty, but given that its more than 12 months old the warranty is expired anyway.

Or if you prefer, send it back to EFILive to have it repaired.
