Was flashing PCM yesterday fine with no problems at all, and this morning tried to do a full flash and V2 is asking for license again...The Vin, Serial, OS, Calibration ID, Hardware & BCC numbers are shown as N/A00000000 or N/A
This is the second time this happened to me, last time was about a year ago...:shock:

What ECM type is this? Can you email me the following:
1) License backup file
- Connect FlashScan to your laptop
- Open the Tune Tool
- Go to the 'Help->FlashScan V2 / AutoCal V2 VIN Licensing' menu
- Click the 'Backup' button; this will save a file to your 'C:\Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\<FS SN.lbu>

2) ECM Info screenshot
- Connect to vehicle
- Open Tune Tool
- Go to the 'Flash->Show PCM Info' menu option
- Select the correct controller type
- Click the 'Get Info' button

Hi Andrew,
It was a 99-08 LS1B PCM, customer had waited long enough so I just used another License to finish him up...I did a Full Flash with another file and the Vin still showed up as N/A000000...:shock:

The VIN won't be changed as part of a full-flash ;) To change the VIN you'll need to do that with the Scan Tool. The VIN being 0's isn;t a problem for licensing, it's the controllers serial number that is important...

Well the controller SN being 0's will be a problem of course. You say you were flashing it one day and then had this problem the next. Did anything happen with he car between success and failure? What software and firmware versions were/are you using? When you had the issue previously it wasn't with this same vehicle was it?

Using Build V7.5.6(Build 155) Like I said working perfect one day and started acting up next day...Not the same PCM or vehicle(totally different) as last time, just same problem....No issues with vehicle...PCM might be bad? Maybe?

Can you please send the details requested in post #4 (or perhaps you don't have the vehicle anymore)? If it was the last car licensed it might help to have the backup file anyway... I'm not seeing this problem otherwise and for you to have it a couple of times is odd, you must just be unlucky. Send me the license backup file (support@efilive.com) and I'll hopefully be able to send you a replacement VIN license.
