Hey guys, having an interesting issue with my LC1 and Im trying to determine if it is my LC1s programming or an issue with my FlashScan.

If you look at the attached logs, you can clearly see that the reported WB AFR is not right. It goes from 4.2-6.38:1 (log1). But what I find interesting is that the reported EQRatio and Lambda values are pretty close to 1:1 (EQ goes .767-1.165:1 [log1]).

Whats going on here, has my LC1 reverted to a weird stoichiometry setting that Im not aware of (trying to determine if I need to buy a USB -> DB9/Serial adapter to program my LC1)?

Running latest everything, fw 2.07.09, V7 b157, V8 b151. Does it in pass thru and BBL on my V2.

Thanks!

Looks like the LC-1 has the custom setting applied.

What Mike said, the LC-1 has "reprogrammed" its stoichiometric AFR, go in with LM Programmer and look at it.

If after you set it back to 14.7, if it happens again let us know.

Seems this a common thing with the V1.10 firmware . Resets back to default .

OK thats good to know, since the EQ/Lambda readings were correct I was hoping it was just the programming. Left my DB9 cable for the LC1 in Seattle, have to get that shipped to me then I can try reprogramming it.

Thanks fellas, will report back in a few days.

Got a USB to serial bridge from Best Buy today, worked perfectly. Windows 7 x64 pulled the driver link for it and I just changed the COM port from COM5 to COM2. Guess what the LC1 AFR was set to...1720.1!!! WTF, how did that happen? Regardless I was running 1.10a firmware so I upgraded to 1.10. Working just fine now!

Make a calc_pid of your own for AFR.
That way if or when this happens again you won't be distracted or have a wasted log. ;)

({EXT.WO2LAM}*{stoich AFR})
({stoich AFR}/{EXT.WO2EQ})

A new BEN pid will be needed too if it is based on AFR.

I've had this happen to me on more than one occasion and
can't figure out if it's the fault of the V2 or the LC-1. :nixweiss:

I just got though with a passthru log that shows my LC-1 setting has changed again.
It may be from plugging the LC-1 into the V2 while one or both are powered up.
