2011 5.3 traction control need removed

hello every one i have a friend that wants to buy a 2011 gmc with a 5.3 but only will if i can turn traction control off fully is this possible needs if for hnt camps and such and he lives in northern quebec thanks rob

Isn't there a button in the cab ?? If not just unplug one of the ABS sensors and plug it back in when
you are back on solid ground. The connection is just inside the wheel well.

Not 100% sure for 2011 but my 2010 does have a TCS switch, 1 seconds press to disengage the traction control and 6 seconds press to disengage stabilitrak, both lights on in the cluster, need to do that after every ignition cycle

Can't you just adjust the parameters? Such as reduce the timing it can pull to 0* or not to engage below 255mph etc?
