View Full Version : Is there a spreadsheet for converting GEN4 injector data to GEN3 injector data?

Does someone have a spreadsheet that I may borrow...:D so i can convert some GEN4 2008 Escalade injector data into GEN3 truck injector data? If not, is there a way to make it work?

Thanks in advance

Post the GenIV file.

There are 4 or 5 tables that can be mapped over to GenIII, most of them need to be interpolated for different axis steps.

Thanks Joe, here's the file....

Marcin,

Ah, thanks, I'll search for the Barbie math thread... :hihi: ...I thought those were LS9 injectors.

Any luck Joe?....:D

I've been swamped the last few days, I'll try to do it tomorrow morning, I'm sorry for the delay...

these injectors are different than the thread mentioned by Marcin above.

If it's a headache don't worry about it....:D I just thought there was a spreadsheet or something I could've used...

The E38 B4001/B1210 tables have to be interpolated (the E38 DeltaMAP axis has to be mapped to LS1B MANVAC axis) to map to LS1B B4001/B3701.

Also, B4005 has to be interpolated.

The other two tables can be copied easily (since they are straight across).

I don't mind doing it, and I'd rather do it instead of some of my other commitments elsewhere. :hihi:

Hey Guys,

Not sure if this is what you are after. Had a look at the injector tables ... looks like 2008 or so L92 Gen IV type injector data modified for use with a Gen III controller. The 2009 & 2010 L92 injector tables look like they are different, yet again.

The zip file in the thread below looks like your work Joecar !

Those injectors are different...

also, when B4001 has a cell range of 0-16 g/s, then B4001 and B1210 have DeltaMAP step by 20 kPa instead of 16 kPa, so I'll have to redo the LS3/LS7 and LS9 spreadsheets also.

Roger that … had hoped to save you some work … no joy.

GAMEOVER,

Here is are the Escalade E38 tables interpolated to fit LS1B.

In the spreadsheet, each tab is named after the LS1B table it belongs to;
under each tab you will see two tables: the E38 table, and the mapped LS1B table.

Copy each LS1B table from the spreadsheet (include the text at the top) and do paste-with-labels into the table it belongs to.

I used QuattroPro in Excel mode (that's what my Mrs has), let me know if it messed up.

Is your engine RPO code LLY...?

Taz, thanks... like you said, no joy, because those tables are different.

The LS3/LS7->LS1B intjector tables are good as they stand (the IFR max is 8 g/s, so B4001/B1210 axis step is 16 kPa).

The LS9->LS1B injector tables need two tables redone for the correct axis step (the IFR range max is 16 g/s, so B4001/B1210 axis step is 20 kPa).

Here are the LS9->LS1 injector tables with correct B4001/B1210 axis spacing.

Hi Joe, the RPO code is L92...will go thru these and give it a try...:D

Thank you sir...:cheers::cheers::cheers:

You're welcome, no worries.

Oh, I meant: is the 2009 Escalade engine RPO code LLY...?

LLY is the 04.5-05 Duramax RPO Joe... I think the Escalades use L92 as the RPO for the 6.2L V8.

Erik, ok, I'll rename the .xls file.

[ the 2009 Escalade .tun file posted claims LLY ]

Joecar,
This is the L76 file I was talking about...

joecar

GAMEOVER,

B4001/B1210 in that file are way different than the LS3 (same OS id made it easy to compare against 2008 Corvette LS3 file)...

I'll create an interpolated spreedsheet for it over the weekend.

The DeltaMAP axis has a different stepping than the MANVAC axis...

a math tool has to be used to create the new stepping and then interpolate the original values to this.

Summarizing:

redhardsupra
March 7th, 2012, 06:09 AM
neat!

But for the long run we should probably have a more dynamic system, new injectors are coming out all the time, it'd be nice to have a 'i want X injector, but i have Y computer, what do i put in where' sort of system.

Hi Marcin,

I was thinking that, but my cheap math tools are handraulic... I really need some thing like MATLAB (it has program-ability, right...?).

sure, http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/ref/interp2.html should tell you everything you need to know for this.
