e38 alternator turn on

Does anyone know if there are any parameters that can be modified to change the turn on time of the alternator with a holden ve os in a conversion car ie(want the alternator to turn on straight away not whenever it feels like it!)

There is nothing in the OS that displays alternator setting.. Maybe its a BCM setting rather then ECM
