With a recent tune on my 5.3l 6spd that was little more then remove the TM and fuel adjustments, kicking down at say 120km/hr instantly the tach jumps to 3500rpm but for a fraction of a second then drops to 3000, and then starts to climb. You can feel this surge, it happens at lower speeds but is more noticable as speed increases. Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

log tcc slip, tccmode. basically check to see if you're actually slipping or if the trans is downshifting and unlocking, then locking again when you see the rpms drop

Does anyone have a a good transmission tune for my '10 5.3l 6 spd w/ 3.42? It seems now the shifts are much firmer, which is a major plus. But now it won't do a burn out at all. Completely stock it would with no problem until the 1-2 shift then it would fag out. Also now it seems to move much easier while idle and in gear, stock it would just creep when I let off the brake. Also I now noticed that it will not go into V4, ever.

Thanks Steve
