View Full Version : Injectors off sequence with coils.

No codes, fouling plugs while commanding stoich.
New plugs are wet/sooty with #3 & #5 just wet.
There is spark to all cylinders, I verified this by pulling the wires w/engine on.

An injector swap yielded no results and injector pulse is higher than it should be. :nixweiss:
RPM, MAP and MAFFREQ seem to be fine.

All is good up to the 12,000th frame or so.

is this a factory or a trans plant setup . to see if the coils are firing in the right spot or time (however you want to call it )
install a degree wheel and pointer and use a timing light to check coil firing .

What are you working on? From what I seen of the log it is a 2002 F body with a 12212156 OS. Is this a Camaro, or a swap?
timing seemed to be all over the board, but that wouldn't cause it to foul out two plugs!?

The tune matches the car. ;)

All 8 were fouled within a mile of driving and a new set yielded 2 that were just wet with no carbon built up.
There is spark to those 2 plugs. :nixweiss:

The cam gear is nice and tight and no codes other than the blinking SES when this happened. :hihi: :doh:

Might have 2 leaky injectors.

I put the stock injectors back in. :(
The OL commanded fuel is set 1.00 to see if it's just an over fueling issue but it still misses bad.
