For instance, is a "0" motor in an '07 Suburban exactly same bolt for bolt and injector as a "0" motor from a '10 Silverado??? The reason I am asking is because I know for instance in the Tahoe there was a change to VVT from '09 to '10, no? That would be a huge difference for tuning. I know that all the gen IVs I have seen are either a "3" or a "0" motor. Is the "3" motor the cam phaser one? (I saw it on an XE model) Does this apply to all other vehicles also? For exaple, does an "X" motor have the same PCM and sensors as ANY other "X" motor? The tune of course would vary sligtly based on configuration. Thanks for putting up with my billion questions :)

Nope.

For example, 06 and 07 TBSSs share the same VIN character reference to the LS2, but for 06 its 24x reluctor and 07+ its 58x. Nowhere close to compatible with each other, dont even use the same ECM!

That settles it pretty good.
