Does anyone have a modified trans tune for a stock 2011 Camaro L99? I am trying to get my hands on tuning this baby. I had COS5 on my LS1 but this one is a lot different. There's a number of people tuning this model but no one whats to help a new person tune this baby. I am willing to do the learning curve but need a little help on this L99. I have read a few items but nothing has helped

I read on www.camaro5.com (http://www.camaro5.com) that EFILive does not support this model as well as HPtuners. When I read that I wanted to post. Don't tell me this is so. I have been using EFILive for logging years ago and then for tuning after that came out. Even though I have only tuned one car (my LS1) I still feel that EFILive is the best.

I tune L99s and their trans just fine with my EFILive.... and I don't even have the latest software update. What kind of help do you need? Yes they are supported. The only '10-'11 Camaros that aren't supported are V6. Most people aren't going to "send you a tune" though. Good luck, I hope you figure it out and enjoy the process. It's a learning experience for all of us. :)

If you are talking about VVT just lock it at one position and do the usual. Rince and repeat. Join the settings as required to create your preferred torque profile.
Otherwise its the same as the E38 and VVE auto tune stuff.
I think they are probably talking of the HPT Auto stuff, HPT has more trans tables.

Thanks everyone. I just have to bite the bullet and start learning this stuff by doing small changes. It is so different than my LS1 was which I ran COS5 SD.

ringram,

I had heard that HPT has more trans tables too, but do could you share what kind the "other" tables are? Torque limiting, shift timing, adaptive learning stuff??? etc, From what I have read on the 6 speeds, there is alot of timing going due to the nature of the planetaries in there.
