As title says did a 80 swap so I did a 80 full segment swap.problem I'm having is just the lockup.I can lock it up with my scanner bilateralcontroller but it won't lockup via pcm control.I've checked lockup speeds vs tps all that looks good.am I.just missing something In the segment swap.

Is this a Gen III or Gen IV 4L80 swap ? I'm assuming it's a Gen III swap. You copied over both the 4L80 trans calibration and trans diagnostic segments ?

Post your tune ... more eyes are often beneficial to locating issues.

Roger that. Had assumed posting in the Gen IV section of the Forum was inadvertent. I take it you are you logging GM.TCCMODE to monitor the convertor state.

Is it the case that the PCM never locks the convertor, or inconsistently locks the convertor. Post your tune when you have the opportunity.

Post the tune, have you adjusted lockup settings?

I just set all my shift speeds and what not,i have not adjusted any of the lockup settings, figured i wouldnt need to change to much if anything if i did a 80 seg swap.We didnt buy the adapter harness we just moved some pins around in the plug.I have input and out put speed and converter slip when i logged it so i know the input and stuff is working. When i log it it doesnt show the pcm attempting to apply the lockup.Im doing my checks in 3rd gear at 60 with 15% or so tps so it should be in lockup according to all the settings for lockup.

Set the TCC lockup PWM tables to 90% min and 98% max, that way it will lockup faster than normal and we can see if the PCM is actually commanding lockup. Have you logged it yet? What does the TCCMODE PID say? It should go to applied when the converter locks.

Until you post your tune we're just guessing blindly. A log of TC / trans PIDs would also be helpful.
