What year, make, and model of vehicle is it ? Have you checked the supported vehicles list at efilive.com to ascertain if that specific vehicle is actually supported ?

If the vehicle is not supported, there is no way to read the tune with EFILive.

Yes it is 07 chevy cobalt with 2.2 and says it is a E37 but i done see it as a option for efi 7.5 in the pcm list, but i see it the list for the new efi live that is scan and flash in the same tool but can not edit with out stream.

You have to use V8 instead of 7.5

You must have a very old version of the software. Please download an upgrade to the latest V7.5 and V8 software, and also upgrade your FlashScan V2 firmware.

Here are a couple of knowledgebase articles:

Just checked also ... that vehicle is supported. In V7.5 "E37 V6, L4 ECM" is a valid controller in the Tune Tool and the Scan Tool.

It the E39 and E78 that are V8 only. E37 can be read/flashed with both V7.5 and V8.
