Hi,

i have seen this problem now on all Camaros that we had on dyno and all customers complain about it.
No matter if in manual or automatic mode, as soon as you get over 230 km/h (143 mph), it shifts from 6th back to 5th gear.
Part throttle, full throttle, always.
It is simply not possible to drive in 6th gear over 230 km/h (143 mph). You also cannot shift manually to 6th gear, it simply does not allow it.

Does somebody see more than i see in the TCM file? I cannot see a reason why it does this.

Note: its not a single car issue, they all do it, aslo with other TCM calibrations.

Your WOT Shift speed of 5->6 is set at 311 MPH...which ain't ever gonna happen! Might want to put it down to around 140 MPH

+1 311 mph...

a few other things:
the mph shift tables need to be uncrossed;
the mph wot shift points need to match the endpoints on the mph shift tables;
the rpm shift tables need to be checked that the rpm in each gear does not conflict with the above.

Thats for sure....
But sometimes overlooked
Must use a dump and change the binaries, but this time I don't have the knowledge.
Try to figure it out in Wintertime.
I cant believe that no one figured it out.....

This is why:

Your WOT Shift speed of 5->6 is set at 311 MPH...which ain't ever gonna happen! Might want to put it down to around 140 MPH

meaning that the WOT table should be edited down, and in the part throttle tables 5->6 should be edited down from 154+.

All the shift tables need work, the upper end of the higher shifts spread out too much, and some the the curves cross.
