Tried a search.

Can someone please clarify the difference between these two tables.
(LS1-B controller).

Edit: B3308 and 3313!

DFCO activation is a function of vehicle speed, TPS, RPM, MAP, and ECT. B3310 is the manual transmission MAP threshold for DFCO to become active. I will generally log the relevant parameters of the engine I'm tuning to come up with values that will activate the DFCO when I want it. In near stock engines I will generally set the value of B3310 (and the left column of B3320) to around 31 kPa. If you step on the throttle and the MAP values increase (a specified amount) above 31 kPa - DFCO is deactivated. I will generally set the right column of B3320 to 35 kPa (in this example).

B3313 is the DFCO ECT enable parameter. The ECT must be above this value for DFCO to become active. I generally set this value to 104 F.

Hope that answers your actual question ......

Hello Taz,

Sorry It should read B3308 and B3313.

Good morning (at least its morning here !),

I work mainly with the A4 transmission - not positive on the reason the OEM set up additional DFCO parameters for the M6. Now I understand your question. B3308 and B3313 are both DFCO ECT enable parameters. B3313 appears to be "generic", while B3308 appears M6 "specific".

With A4 transmission vehicles I set B3313 to 104 F, and leave B3308 at 284 F - and DFCO is active when logged. I have never logged an M6 vehicle while manipulating these parameters. If you are tuning an M6 vehicle try setting B3313 to 284 F and B3308 to 104 F - and see if DFCO is active. If DFCO is not active - try setting both B3308 & B3313 to 104 F and see if DFCO becomes active.

I don't think there is a DFCO PID - I log STFT to confirm DFCO function - it will drop to 0% when DFCO is active.

Hello Taz,
Late afternoon in sunny Cyprus here.........

I think B3313 is the enabler as most M6 tunes I see have B3308 set at 140c (284f). Mine is also set this way (with 3313 at 65c).
I'm not really sure what the M6 tables really do (3308,9,10 & 11) as looking over a 2004 ZO6 file they aren't set in a way they'd enable anything. :)

Again, A4 is my experience base, for the M6 you could try:

B3308

104 F
B3309

set to whatever RPM you want
I have set A4 tunes to as low as 800 RPM (in B3318)
B3310

generally set to 31 kPa with an A4 tune (in B3320)
B3311

is the TPS DFCO limit for M6 tunes
A4 tunes use the values in B3316 (not sure if the M6 does also)
would start out with M6 B3311 value around 1.00% to 1.25% and tune from there
I'm certain that WeathermanShawn would know exactly how DFCO works with an M6. He would be a better resource on this question than I am.

Thanks Taz..

Here is what my DFCO M6 parameters look like ..see attachment..(pretty sure they are stock).

If I understand it correctly, M6 DFCO simply turns off the injectors (to minimum INJPW) when the clutch is depressed during shifts. Theory being you don't need the fuel during shifts. I like mine enabled.

Living in mountain territory I manipulate B3318 to enable at 1800 and deactivate at 1000 Rpm. B3320 I enable at 22 kPa and deactivate at 30 kPa. I.E., I try to keep DFCO enabled as long as possible, since some of my descents are in the thousands of feet. The Enable MAP values look low since my BARO is also lower.

Hope that helps..

So the M6 parameters,

B3308-3310 are CFCO?

My parameters aren't stock as the car was A4 before I converted it to M6 (couldn't buy these with M6 at the time) and I don't have a micro-switch on the clutch pedal (so never go onto B3933 either). The tables are a mix of ZO6 and HSV GTS; picking basically what seemed suitable at the time.
My DFCO works okay, I just wondered what the rest of the tables were for.
Here is a thumb of mine.

Other tables are
B3314 = 48kph (30mph)
B3316 = Same as '04 ZO6 (i.e. 1.5% from 8,000 down to 3,600 then reducing linearly to 0 by 1200rpm.
B3318 = Same as '04 ZO6.
B3320 = 28 Kpa Enable/Disable and 32Kpa down to 80Kpa then 33 @ 90Kpa and 34 @ 100Kpa.

The car idles @ 800 with idle Map around 40-45kpa.
