Howdy, just got a flyer in the mail the other day, and i seen tablet PC's. And it made me think, could one put EFI Life on a tablet? And just make a mount in your truck to keep the tablet basically in your truck all the time? I found this tablet which interests me because it has a keyboard thats removable.

It runs Win7 so it will run EFILive :cheers:

I take it has touch screen (which would be used in the same manner as mouse/cursor).

Yes, the entire screen is touch. You can put a mouse on it though i assume because it has a few USB slots. Has anyone ever done this before? I would like to see what it looks like before i go and drop $600 on it.

Look at the Asus EEE Slate... nuff said. Runs a proper I5 processor and not a atom. the atom processors are shit imo and often have problems with providing enough power to usb devices.

Atom = garbage yes.

I5 in a tablet = powerful, but maybe overkill.

Im a huge Asus fanboy, every PC Ive built except for 1 has an Asus mobo and some other supporting piece of hardware in it. Hows the battery life with an I5? Plus the integrated GPU is pretty good from what Ive heard, my new HP dv7t Quad laptop with the 2nd gen I7 rocks and can play 1080p video smoothly while running on the integrated graphics (huge plus, battery life with the integrated graphics and 720p video is about 6-7hrs with a 9cell battery, on the Radeon HD 6770M its about half that).

I Was looking at that same tablet on Tiger Direct, but there was no mention of battery life made..... I don't want to buy something like that and find out the battery life is 1 hour or something like that!!! All their site says is it comes equipped with a 3 cell battery!!!???
