1 Meg. PCM question..

My latest project is going to require me to use a 1 meg. PCM (2003 or newer) in order to use a low cost drive by wire setup, as I don't want to pay the Corvette surcharge for the TAC module and gas pedal. Truck stuff is much cheaper and readily available!!!

My question is.... I know with the 512K PCM's, everyone recommends using the 12212156 OS because it is the newest/latest and greatest. Is the same true with the 1 meg. PCM's and if so, what is the desired OS that should be used!!! I will be using a 24X setup and will be using COS 3 also, so 58X OS's need not apply!!!:hihi:

Not all of the 1Mb PCM OS's had custom OS's written, but if you stick with something from a 2004 or 2005 you should be safe.

There is COS3 support for two 2003 OS, five 2004 OS, and one 2005 OS. Your best bet (if your are not sure what OS you're going to use) is the 2004 model year.
