Hey guys, im interested in getting into the the tuning business, and to start, the mail order tune. i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats the best way to connect a pcm that you recieve in the mail? obviously you dont have the dlc to use. do you use a donor car (remove that cars pcm and plug your pcm that needs to be tuned)? im afraid that kind of use would eventually kill the pins on a harness. anyone have any ideas or insight? it would be much appreciated.

I’m not clear about you’re background with tuning when you mentioned you are looking at getting into the tuning business.
If tuning LS1/LS6 is somewhat new to you then my suggestion is, “forget about attempting mail-order tunes for now”. The last thing you want to do is put someone’s engine into early retirement and subject it to the scrap heap because of a bad tune.

Other wise just follow the link below the the suppliers of the bench harness.

i appreciate the input scoota, but i am not wreckless. im in the investigation phase of what i want to do. if this works out, ill be in the research and development phase, and yadda yadda yadda. bottom line, im just trying to figure out how the basics are performed so i can go from there.
