Made a log at the track tonight and noticed some weird stuff.

first thing was it struggled to do a burnout and looking at the log shows timing dipped way down during the burnout

and i guess i need to change tire size in the tune for my drag radials for the shift points to be correct

ill post the log and see what yall think

thanks

Well I saw your Spark drop, but you would have to log a number of the Spark Pids to know for sure.

It might have been 'Burst Knock' or if your Traction Control system will knock down Spark. As far as struggling to do a burnout..I don't think it would necessarily be Spark related..could be just tires, track surface, etc..unless you have witnessed a substantial power loss..probably no 'biggie'..

Track IAT's look pretty high too. Hot air will hurt performance and effect your Spark also..

i figured the high iats were the big issue

I've seen knock sensors retard timing a lot without any codes.

This sounds like Brake Torque Management (BTM). I've disabled it on a few cars and they went from barely being able to spin the tires to frying them on demand. Set B0401 BTM Enable RPM to 12800 and you're good to go.

From EFILive:

Brake Torque Management (BTM) is used to reduce engine power by cutting cylinders and reducing the pedal opening on ETC vehicles when your foot is held on the brake in gear and the accelerator is pressed (stalling up the vehicle).
