Rookie question/Trans type

OK. I am totally new to this. I received a programmed ECM from a tuner and also bought the EFI Live Flash Scan. The tuner inadvaretntly set the program to Manual transmission whereas my car is an automatic.

How can I change this? The cur runs but will not shift. Also the speedo is totally wrong.

Will greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

The car is a 98 Camaro Z28.

To make the tune A4 (4L60) compatible would will need to read the tune from the PCM using EFILive - and save it. Then using EFILive "swap" in A4 transmission calibration and transmission diagnostic segments from a 1998 Camaro A4 tune - save this using a new file name. Then adjust the speedometer to reflect your vehicle's gearing and tire diameter - and update the shift points. Then flash this (CAL only flash) new tune into the PCM.

If your vehicle has been modified beyond simple modifications, you might want to get the tuner to send you a file for your car setup as an automatic. Idle quality, shift points and TCC at the least need to be tuned.
