V2 black box computer cannot recognize black box?

Montey from ATP has helped me as far as he can. We both have agreed we think something is wrong with my black box. When i go to the firmware update all boxes show N/A and the computer knows its plugged into the usb port but it cannot recognize anything. The black box shows its in usb mode and ive done the hold CTL button and plugged it in. NOTHING!!! Im trying to upgrade it to the cummins version. It works for duramaxes but nothing else. All software that Montey and I are aware of is up to date. THanks, Eric

if it helps my black box was issued nov 2006 so it is fairly old?

Ira, Words can't explain what you have done tonight to help me. WOW is all I can say. I can't remember if i have EVER had that kind of customer service not even to mention that FAST. I have to give Ira cudos as well. I thought I had bricked a V2 and even with its blacked out screen he hooked me up.
