View Full Version : Why reduce MAF scaling values on a basically stock E38?

Car is Z06/LS7. Just trying to understand why you would reduce MAF scaling on one or both tables and then alter injector tables? I know soem tuners use injector tables to achieve desired AFR's. I just don't see why you would reduce MAF scales as part of the tune. If anything, the car is seeing more air do to headers and an improved intake system.

Dont know why anyone would touch the injector tables, but if you have changed the intake before the throttle body unlikely the MAF will still provide an accurate reading.
