Hey guys,
Been working with a local guy here with a 2006 5.9L mega cab, automatic. Everything uploaded and downloaded fine, truck started right up.

I flashed a tune in yesterday, worked fine in the test drive but had a little more rattle in the mid range. Today he went to drive it and it white smokes at idle, and has a very loud rattle. I never adjusted timing in the idle range though....

Any thoughts on where to looK? He did tell me he has suspected his injectors may be on the outs, but I haven't had a chance to log and verify since then. What PID's do I need to select to log that for those of you who already know?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Had you modified pilot injection amount??

I know with mine, if I had too little pilot at cold idle, it has like doodoo and white smoked.

I dont suggest you make any changes without logging them.
log the injection timing, rail pressure too

I know mine rattles when pilot shuts off around mid range. Fuel Balance cylinder rates are what to look at logging. But for now till next release, balance rates do not work correctly.
