Any suggestions on the following.
not getting correct reading from Lm2 on fs2, cant set voltage calibrations either. Through control panel on v7 set first voltage with 1618mV (aa battery) initialize, second voltage 3238 (aa batt 2s). Factor comes bck at 999.99, offset mV same as first voltage reading (1618).
LM2 analogue out ocv is around 2810mV, but when connected to flashscan it drops to 320mV,

Do you have FlashScan V1 or V2...?

If you have a V2 then you should use serial comms.

i dont have(cable), to get them is 3 days away unfortunately, is there a problem using analogue ?

You can calibrate your V2's analog inputs...

ButI think you will avoid voltage offset errors/problems if you went serial...

you can make a cable, see this thread, it shows pinouts: serial-port-cable-that-goes-to-v2 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?9340-serial-port-cable-that-goes-to-v2)

flashscan didnt come with serial cable, lm2 serial is optional part. So pretty much up the creek without a paddle, got me beat why the voltage calibrations wont take.

Have had the same experience with the V2 - it does not seem to calibrated the A/D inputs per the instructions in the Scan Tool manual (pages 103 to 105). I was able to source the Factor / Offset values for my analogue WBO - don't recall where I found that information.

I entered these manually - and as fate (luck) would have it, they were accurate. When (if) my analogue WBO finally dies, I will replace it with a serial model - to avoid the A/D calibration issues.

Try calibrating them through the V2's keypad instead of using the software.
The last time I tried to use the software for this I found it dd not work as well.

Thanks guys, i see the external callibration using scan tool only on Taqcable website. makes better sense.
(The pdf is for serial, but the process should be the same,<setting ser pid>off. A/D pid on)
