Hello everybody,

I am attempting my first LS1 tune and want to know which COS I should be using. The Vehicle I will be tuning is a 2004 VY Holden Commodore.

The Operating System is 12225074. I will be going mafless and would like to be able to use lean cruise. Do all the COS's have the ability to use dual spark maps with the MAF disabled??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

You can use either 01290003 or 01290005
Both will give you dual spark maps
01290003 will give you dual spark maps and valet
01290005 will give you dual spark maps and valet plus 2/3 bar Tables
lean cruise can be used but i would disable it and use B3647 and use the command afr's you want in the kpa and rpm area's

Ok looks like COS3 will be the go for me. I won't be seeing any boost. I will look into that table - it looks simple enough to use

Thanks

Where are you Ben and what is your email addy? I've got a couple of COS3 1290003 Head / Cam tunes you could look at to see what they are.

05120003 is what you want, has these features:

- Speed Density with dual spark maps and adaptive spark.
- Valet mode and/or "Two-Step" limiter.
- 2 and 3 bar, forced induction support

Check the Custom OS Upgrade Tutorial included with the V7.5 install, its where I got this info from. :D
