check engine light on

I have a 09 duramax engine light came on while idling i got the code P0101 off hand tool but can not get the computer to link up to truck says no truck detected where do you find out what the codes mean

Hello Plumber1,

P0101 is a mass airflow sensor performance DTC. I don't do diesel tuning. If in doubt, always try an internet search of DTCs - lots of information out there.
