Hello all,
I am working on a 2005 Duramax LLY. Has dsp5 tune and started popping a 183 fuel temperature code. I placed the stock tune back in just to verify it wasnt in the tune and still same thing. It started setting a 202 and then a sister code 2149. Completly shuts down a bank of injectors when this happens. I decided to put in a new fuel temperature sensor cleared codes and so far none of them have returned but my worry is that when I set up my scan tool to monitor the fuel temperature it stays @ -40 and does not move. Is this normal for the lly? I know this function works on the newer trucks but curious about the lly? Next I guess I will be tracing down wiring if it really is not fixed. Thanks, Randy.
