A friend of mines Trailblazer SS keeps throwing a p0717 code after he has had his transmission built.
I have repeatedly tried to turn the code off. No matter what I choose the code keeps coming back. Non-reported or non emissions. I also turned the MIL indicator off for the code yet the MIL lamp still continues to come back on. The car has no other codes present.
I am quite dumbfounded by this, I feel quite stupid actually. Has anyone ran into this problem? Inspection is coming up and with nothing else wrong with the car, its quite puzzling why it keeps returning and lighting up the MIL lamp even when turned off.
