Working on a 07.5 LMM change injector #5 tonight and truck still has a miss thinking #7 may be bad also.. Would like to check the injector balance rate with my EFI live. I did play around and see the injectors 1-8 in PIDs not sure how get this live/ running data?

Thanks!

Best way is just to select all 8 injector balance flow rates in your pid selection file and once you're connected go to Data and watch your balance rate at idle. You can only check balance rates at idle. The numbers should stay close to zero. The balance rate represents what the ECM is commanding the injector to do. Exammple: If you have an injector hanging open, the flow rate will be something like -5. Watching all 8 makes the bad injectors stand out.

Good luck!

The balance rates should never go below -4 or above +4 at an idle (in park or netural). We have also had on some trucks that you have to check in drive ( at idle ) and those values should be between -6 to +6. Did the new injector cone with a flow rate tag? If it did you must take it to a shop that has the capability to program that rate into the ECM and the GPCM. Otherwise the computer may not recognize the new injector
