Stock 2009 Corvette T43 .tun with the 24249179 os

I would like to replace the OS in my Escalade 6l80 with the Corvette tune to allow for tap shifting without a BCM. I see 24249179 OS files for a Holden commodore and a CTS-V on tunefiledepot.com but I think those still require a BCM for tap shifting? Using EFIlive 8.2.1 I was able to replace the OS from my 2007 Escalade TCM to the 2007 Corvette OS on tunefiledepot, but it seems you need the same OS when applying a full tune to these TCMs.

I did just update my version of 7.5.6 to 7.5.7 built 170, so I need to also double check if that somehow allows a full tune over a different OS. There is a 2009 Corvette tune listed on tunefiledepot but its OS 24251030. there is a 2008 tune with 24243170 as well.

Just in case anyone can use this information down the line I was able to flash my 2009 Escalade TCM with the above OS to the 2009 Corvette OS from tunefiledepot.com that is OS 24251030. it took the tune fine. Also it appears that the desired torque slip table that you need to zero out when runnning a multi disc torque converter like the Circle D specialties stage 3 are already zeroed out in that corvette calibration. I can't access it but Jannetty accessed it and it was already set the way you need it. So had I known that I could have saved some money in licenses for the other software :doh2:
