Help categorizing this truck...

It started as a 99 tahoe lt 4x4. The pcm was changed to a 411 from a 2002 astro. The intake and injectors and throttle body were changed to an edelbrock pro flo 3507 and integrated into the 411 (no edelbrock computer piggyback) on the vortec bottom end.The cam was changed to the LT-1 hotcam and it still ran decent(super rich). Then, the engine was changed to a 1972 400sbc with aluminum heads, 6-inch crower rods, wiseco pistons, eagle crank. Knock sensor kept, reluctor and plastic timing cover and sensor kept. The distributor is from the original 99 vortec. Cam is big. I believe the os is from a 2002 astro that was set up for the 5.7.

Which section should I be posting in? ls1,vortec....?

Frankensteins monster wont idle at this point.

Hi Mangler welcome to the forum :cheers:

Since you have a 411 PCM and matching tune, tuning questions would go in the Gen III section.

If you have a distributor, then physical/mechanical type questions might go in the Vortec section.
