I was just wondering if us guys who currently own a V2 can tune a cummins as well? Or do we have to purchase a new V2? I know several guys with cummins that would be very intersted in tunes but do not want to sport the 800 bucks for a new V2
I did not see just a cable option in the online store.

If you already have a V2 you just need to purchase the Cummins tuning option, then for each Cummins vehicle you need to buy a license as you would for any GM vehicle, you don't need a whole new V2.
The only difference between the new V2's and the older ones (which I am assuming you have) is the new Blue case V2's have the circuitry for the SCI bus used on pre 2006 Cummins ECM's, if that is not a concern for you then your current V2 will do fine.

Right HERE (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_EFILive.tpl&product_id=77&category_id=13&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54).
For $399 that enables you to tune two Cummins vehicles right away. Everything is the same as far as cables etc. You will however need to make sure you update all your software and firmware.

Sweet man. I looked in the online store and could not find it. I guess I am blind.
