a while ago i was having problems bbf and the other day i finally got around to uninstalling and reinstalling the efilive software on my computer. i'm running the most current version of everything. So here is the story, this morning flashed my pcm and at the end the v2 said something about checksum errors and then truck was dead, no start. i tried three more flashes that failed $0281 "no data received" and then "invalid serial number reset controller and flashscan and retry operation", $0534 "invalid serial number". on the fifth flash it worked and the truck started. this afternoon flashed it with no problems. tonight flashed it and got $0322 "condition not correct or request sequence error" at the end of the flash then i flashed again and it worked.
getting kinda frustrated whats going on????:help2:

If you're not using RC2, http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?17096-Release-Candidate-2-Aug-19-2011 , then you should try that one as it's the most current.

I just has 2 flashing failured before it would go. $0322. usually I hear the chime and the fuelpump turn on after a good flash but when it gave me the error while flashing message it would chime the sound and turn the fuel pump on two times while verifying file. Any thoughts?

Do you have any aftermarket electronic equipment on your truck? It sounds like something is not respecting the flash protocols and is interfering with the reflash process.

the only aftermarket electronics i have are my lc-1, its never caused a problem before, will pull the fuse and see if that fixes the problem

What about On-Star, BCM, Stereo/Entertainment... pull the fuse for those and try again.

no onstar or aftermarket stereo. i thought the bcm was commanded to be silent during the flashing process? i'll do another flash this weekend and pull those fuses though
