Am attempting to set up the SELBEN map. When I get to item 10,[pge4], I find the instructions to type ",value" into the label slot.

Do I delete the 11 "?" marks, then type the ",value", or? [I've tried most every combo and end up w/ a trashed map...] The map is there w/ only the word RPM at the top, the freq values listed, and the map all spread out wide. Looking at the sample, I see that rpm is to be on rows. Mine is backwards.. .:help2::help2:

What is "list index out of bounds -1"?? I've just been closing it.

All else seems to be working......:grin:

TIA!

Hi Chuck,

Do this:
- in the tunetool goto the table that you want to create a map of (table B5001 in this case),
- in the upper left of the table (the blank tile between the row and col axis), do rightclick->Copy with labels,
- in the scantool goto the map properties,
- in each of the Row and Col tabs click Paste Labels (this fills in the map axis labels to match the table in the tunetool).

You will still need to select the correct pids for the Data, Row, Col tabs;

for the B5001 mirroring map, you can use any logged pid for the Col tab (e.g. use RPM or MAFFREQ);

remember to save the map.

This happens when you click Create Labels without filling in the boxes to define the label steps...

instead of this, use Paste Labels as I described above.

Joe, so far:
1. I've gone thru the 3 tabs and selected the pids.
2. I've opened B5001, done the cliks, and got to the paste/labels.
3. I then go back to the scantool map, and clik on paste w/ labels. [I tried this after I cliked on the row and col tabs.]
4. I get a map w/ the row ID and the body numbers and the title of SSELBEN, with rpm under it, on the col side... No rpm values there. Is that where I should be, B4 I save it???

Your 2nd post says I didn't fill in the label steps..I guess that's where I lose it....What boxes are you referring to?

THANKS!

Don't use Create Labels (if you click it you will see the boxes)...

do copy-with-labels from the table in the tunetool, and click the Paste Labels button on the Row and Col tabs in the map;

when you click Paste Labels it will cause the "?" labels to be replaced with the same values as the table in the tunetool;

click Paste Labels on each of the Row and Col tabs;

warning: do copy-with-labels from tunetool table, and go directly to Row and Col tabs in map, do not copy/paste anything else along the way.

Post screenshots of what you have...

That's what I have done.
I don't have programming on the LT for screen shots...
I'll see if I can get DFE1 to help.

Thanks,

1 last ??
I've got the map completed except for the RPM labels on the columns.
Since the calibration B5001 has no reference to rpm.. I can't paste labels w/ rpm..
Where does the rpm label[s] come from??
Do use a different PID??

Do use a different PID??When you Paste Labels, you will see "Value" appear on the one (and only) column label;
then in the pid selection box choose any pid that you logged (it doesn't matter which one).

What time(s) can I call you...?
