Just getting my swap up and running. Everything I've read from searching tells me that to make the idle fall down much faster and to posssibly clean up the throttle response when going off-idle, I need to decrease throttle cracker and decrease throttle follower.

Any tips on going about this? I was going to start by reducing cracker by 50% and see what happens.

specs are LQ4 with 227/231 duration, .651 lift, LS6 intake, marine injectors, 243 heads, T56 trans.

I don't get in and rev it up until about 1:10

Ok, so I ended up reducing throttle follower and it's much better at coming down from RPM. I'm satisfied with that.

The problem I need to address now (and this was happening before reducing throttle follower) is that when driving if I push in the clutch when moving and don't feather the gas pedal a little bit, the engine stalls.

The way I have to overcome this is to downshift into 1st or 2nd gear when coming to a stop and don't push the clutch in until it's almost back at an idle speed.

Any ideas?

You need to go thru the Idle Tutorial completely to help the stall problem. See the stickies at the top.
