View Full Version : External inputs not working...

Long story short, my laptop got the internet aids and I reformatted. Downloaded the latest software and updated the V2 firmware/bootblock.

Now none of my external inputs work. At first I only connected to the V2 itself and the only valid PIDs were analog 1 and 2. Then connected to a pcm on the bench and all were valid, but all just sit on 0 or default when scanning.

Any ideas? Thanks

John

Hi John,

Do you have the AD + and - inputs both connected...?

Can you post a screen shot of the Data tab while you are logging...?

Do you have V7/V8 builds 180/170...?

Yes, running 180/170.

Yes, both + and - connected, as well as two thermocouples hooked up and even tried a 12 volt sig to s1 ad s1.

I will post a screen shot later today. When I tried it I only had external PIDs selected, no PCM ones, maybe that will help?

Thanks for the help :thumb_yello:

Is V2 connected to the vehicle's OBD2 port (this is required in order to log pids)...?
