View Full Version : B9904 and D0511 Clarification?

I am looking at the B9904 and D0511 tables. I see that the B9904 table enables or disables the limiter options in the D0511 table. The description states:

"This calibration controls the level to which the main injection pulse will be limited to. Any setting apart from "Minimum" will limit the final pulse time in some way as the engine RPM climbs. The limiter can by bypassed totally using {B9904} "Main Injection Pulse Limiter Option""

I'm wondering when will the pulse be limited, and by how much, on each setting. Thanks.

Has nobody played with this, or does everyone just disable it?

It is this pair of calibrations that can reduce the final injector pulse time less than what you have in the commanded table (at about 3400RPM up from memory), if you aren't up at those RPM's then don't worry about it. For the trucks running the big RPM's up at 5,000 ish they need this set to disable, for all others you can probably get away with D0511 set to minimum.
