speed density

anyone done speed density on a stock motor i have a 8.1 thats stock was wondering it speed density would have any atvantages only thing i can think about is loosing the mas air might pick up power at higher rpms (where its restrictive ) and maybe trying to lean it out little more at light loads for gas milage with wide band on it of corse the 12 miles a gallon is killing me way it is just was wondering if driveability is just as good in speed density if any one out there uses speed density for every day driver my wife drives it more then me thanks

I have use SD on my car for over a year with no problems. I tuned two basically stock cars just a few weeks ago in SD/Open Loop and both seemed to really like how they felt. I don't think your wife can tell the difference.
