I have 2 2001 S-10 running the same 4L60E transmission. I have connected to both trucks and selected the GM.GEAR pids to verify their values. I have no troubles with the stock S-10, yet i only get values of 1 & 2 when i shift the transmission. The only instance the pid points to gear 2 is when it is actually in gear 2 with the shifter. The rest of the gears all reference 1 no matter where the shift lever is. Mind you there is no issue with the truck whatsoever. I am merely using it as a reference.

I am having the same issue with the modified S-10 with custom OS 02020005.

I am running V7.5.7 Build 180 of EFILIVE. I have tested this with both V1 and V2 FlashScan. V1 only shows GM.GEAR as value 3 no matter which gear the transmission is shifted into.

Can someone else verify this to make sure I am not nuts or if this truly is a bug?

Can you please post a log file from each of your V1 and V2...

What firmware version is your V2 at...?

This thread can be removed.

It has been a long day and retraced my steps to find it. I should have been logging GM.PRND instead of GM.GEAR

Thanks Joecar for the assistance. I just need more sleep and get off the tuning subject....
