E38 Pontiac G8 COS?

Does this operating system allow you to use a injector flow base higher than 63.4922 lbs/hr. or 7.9999 gm/sec? Thanks.

Look at the info in the upper right corner of the window when viewing table B4001 in this specific file... it shows you the range that this file allows for injector flow base.

Different files have different ranges (8 g/s or 16 g/s), you have to look at each file.

Its looks like you don't get 16gm/sec until the ZR1 came out the COS doesn't help.

Hello 94SS,

E38 OS beginning in 2009 featured a 16g/s maximum injector flow rate (B4001). This includes the G8 ... if your G8 tune has an 8g/s hard limit then it is from a 2008 G8. In an engine conversion project changing to a 2009 OS is an option. If the vehicle you are working on is actually a 2008 G8 - changing the ECM OS may cause problems.
