OK, I just bought V2 to tune my 99 Tahoe with a 0411 ECM (LS1B). It has been tuned with EFILive as a 2002 Express (L31 Engine with LS1B ECM). I have the tune file that was used. It had the wrong VIN. I went to change the VIN, but every time I try to use the V2 on my Tahoe i get one error message or another. I put a spare 4GB SD card and have formatted everything, reloaded the firmware, and reinstalled the software.
This is the file structure:
EFILive

Scan

Tune

However it keeps asking for Options.txt, and files and folders for PID files.

What am I supposed to do just to get started?

Make sure you have EFILive V7.5 and V8 Scan & Tune downloaded from the main efilive.com homepage. I imagine you have V8 already but just want to make sure. Open V8 S&T, then click F5: BBX. Select the PIDs you want and click Program. That should kill the annoying message.

Open V7.5 Scan Tool, click the green button and select the LS1B PCM. Now you can click Bidirectional -> Change VIN and enter the VIN you want. Click Ok and follow any onscreen notifications.

Do what Erik said about the VIN.
