I was trying to "read calibration data from PCM". At 8:08 the program locked up and quit running. I left it run for 30 minutes wuth the same results so I stopped the process. Now I get the following and my truck won't start. I have searched the forums to no luck.

Is my PCM wiped clean? When I now try to show calibration details for connected PCm there are no vin #'s or anything anymore. What happened?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Your PCM is ok.

Please update your software to the latest available here:
http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133

Download and Install both V7 and V8.
Use the V7.5 software: EFILive Firmware Programmer to update your FlashScan's firmware to V2.04.72
Then use the built in option on FlashScan to upgrade the boot block.
Then use the V8 software: EFILive Control Panel (aka EFILive HAPI) to update the boot block to V2.07.03) and firmware to V2.07.22.
This document describes the steps in detail:
Start->All Programs->EFILive->V8->Documents->Upgrading Firmware.

Regards
Paul

I have the issue that is runs like it should and then stops in the last min of reading and then the truck goes to a no start and I have to disconnect the batteries for about a hr and then it is fine. It will not accept a tune as well it just does the same thing and I have had the same tune stuck in the truck for a yr now? Little confused?
