Just updated to the latest EFI Live so i could tune my buddys new Camaro.
Did a engine/transmission swap in a truck this weekend and before we started tuning on it i tried to do a crank relearn. Went to the DVT, activated, and when i click on the relearn button nothing happens. The parameters are in spec. But nothing happens.

Last time i did a relearn was years ago on my truck and it worked.
Now its a no go.

Where should i start looking?

Did you raise the RPM to above 4000 rpm (within 10 seconds)...?

Is it not suppose to show a popup screen, like it use to.

Is it in a transplant? I think from memory it needs to see the brake pedal switch pressed as well (I might be wrong on that).
The DVT will show the error when you try to activate the CASE learn if there is a problem.

We got it to work,
now i gotta figure out how to hook up the brake wire in the PCM so i can do a CRL on a 98 with a 06 5.3..

Know what pin in the PCM needs to see a signal? 2002 pcm, and what type of signal? ground or 12V?

I'll look thru my wire diagrams... 2002 Camaro, right...?

On the diagram, looks like the brake switch goes to 12V.

Can I ask what you did to get it to work? I feel like I am overlooking something. Nothing indicates 'relearn in process' or completion or anything. And of course my CEL doesn't turn off. I am going out to check the physical sensor but I don't think that is it.

Yes bubba68ss you may be overlooking a few things. First is what are you working with? An 0411 ecm swap I am going to guess. Into what year make and model is the o411 swapped into?

I simply just pressed the button and reved the engine, it will studder and then let off.. simple as that.. if it doesnt studder, it didnt work.

In his other thread he didn't have two pins connected on his PCM swap, I think he now got it working.

Ya I have it working now. Had to run two new pins from PCM to ground to tell it it was in park
