I own both applications. I can get that piece of crap LS1Edit to even run on my machine now. Doesn't matter, because I have EFILive. However, I have an LS1Edit file that I need to convert to EFILive. Since I can 't load the tune because LS1Edit won't even run, can anyone here do it. In a tight spot.

Thanks.

If its a .bin file, just try file open and chose the file. Seems to work ok for me.

AFAIK, LS1Edit encrypts their files; therefore, you can't open it with EFILive. You have to program the PCM with LS1Edit, and then download with EFILive. There is a way to do it with just a PC, but I don't know how. Are you able to open an LS1 file? If so, I could email it to you.

Ok, some of the .bin files from Horst's site work ok, maybe it was earlier versions. Maybe someone here will know how to "fix" it so it opens. Maybe some hex editor or something to remove or change a part of it.

I think most of the files on Horist's site are HPT, and yes EFLive can read those. Unfortuantely, this is a .LS1 file. Wait4Me can do it, but he is extremely busy. :) I have asked him. I am just in a tight spot, and fuggin LS1Edit sucks a$$!
